Hedi Slimane and Nicola Formichetti are at it again in the January 2009 issue of Dazed and Confused, dressing and lensing 21st century British youth with their usual flair.
No professional models in here, just amateur London boys aged 17 to 19, handpicked by Slimane in various night spots. The “music and freedom” attitude of Saul Rogers (above, left) pretty much sums up the state of mind of the whole bunch. Louis Simonon (below), 17, for instance, is setting up is own independent record label. Hit the gallery for more, including the sweet Barnett twins — one is a designer, the other is a singer — and their perfect motto: “The 20th century has ended, the 22nd has not yet started, we can do what we like in between.”
