Stuffed animals and especially monkeys are nothing new in Richardson’s work, but since the same kind of toy popped up in a Jeremy Kost editorial yesterday, there could be a disturbing trend here…
At least Chad White does not rip his monkey apart. His childhood innocence turning dark only results in a newspaper going up in flames, flowers eaten alive, and good-boy/bad-boy moments like the one pictured below.
